Posthumously
After a sudden and brief illness, Kim passed away on March 20, 2023. She and her family have lived in Franklin, TN for 25 years.
During her time as District Attorney General, Kim served on several Governor-appointed committees, including a judicial nominating committee. She was also a member of the Tennessee District Attorney General’s conference.
Beyond her professional career, Kim was active with St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Franklin, TN.
She was heavily involved in numerous local charities, including My Friend’s House, the Davis House Child Advocacy Center, and Williamson County CASA, among many others.
I was saddened to hear about the passing of District AG Kim Helper. She was a dynamic woman with high integrity that was dedicated to her job and fighting for what was right. I am disappointed to miss the event honoring her as a leader. She will be missed. My deepest condolences to Kim’s family. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
